1. Who We Are

AstralRead ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by CINQUE AMICI d.o.o., a limited liability company (društvo sa ograničenom odgovornošću) registered in Montenegro. By accessing or using the AstralRead website (astralread.com) and services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and us.

2. Service Description

AstralRead provides AI-powered astrological and psychological consultation services. The Service computes natal charts based on astronomical data (Swiss Ephemeris) and generates interpretations using artificial intelligence trained on classical astrological and psychological literature.

3. Important Disclaimers

The Service is for informational and entertainment purposes only.

• AstralRead is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, psychiatric, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
• The astrological and psychological content generated by our AI should not be relied upon as professional advice. Always seek the guidance of qualified health professionals for any medical or mental health concerns.
• AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information provided by the Service.
• If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are under 18, you may not use the Service.

5. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

6. Payments and Merchant of Record

Certain features of the Service require payment. By purchasing a subscription:

• You agree to pay all fees associated with your selected plan, including any applicable taxes.
• All purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, Inc., a Delaware corporation, acting as the Merchant of Record and authorized reseller for AstralRead. Your contract of sale is formed between you and Lemon Squeezy; AstralRead is the underlying service provider. Lemon Squeezy issues invoices, handles tax collection and remittance, and processes refunds and chargebacks on our behalf in accordance with their terms.
• We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Prices may change with prior notice; any change takes effect from your next renewal.

7. Refund Policy — 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first paid subscription to any AstralRead plan. If you are not satisfied with the Service within 14 calendar days of your initial purchase, you may request a full refund for any reason.

The guarantee applies to the first payment only and does not cover subsequent automatic renewal charges. Refund requests are submitted by emailing [email protected] or through the Lemon Squeezy customer portal accessible from your account page. Approved refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy and credited to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

8. EU Consumer Rights (14-Day Withdrawal)

If you are a consumer located in the European Union, the European Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) grants you the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason.

Digital content exception: By purchasing a subscription and using the Service (for example, running your first natal chart analysis), you expressly consent to the immediate performance of the Service and acknowledge that you waive your statutory right of withdrawal once performance has begun, in accordance with Article 16(m) of the Directive. Our 14-day money-back guarantee remains available and is more generous than this statutory right.

9. Cancelling Your Subscription

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account page (via the Lemon Squeezy customer portal) or by emailing [email protected]. After cancellation, you retain full access to your current plan until the end of the paid billing period. No further automatic charges will be made. You may re-subscribe at any time.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, design, software, and AI-generated content — are the property of AstralRead or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

11. User Content

By submitting content (such as chat messages and birth data) to the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. You retain ownership of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our permission.
• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Resell or redistribute the Service or its content without authorization.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ASTRALREAD AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your use of or inability to use the Service.
• Any decisions made or actions taken based on AI-generated content.
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or personal information.
• Any interruption or cessation of the Service.

14. Termination by AstralRead

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination shall survive (including but not limited to Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law).

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Montenegro, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, it shall be submitted to the competent court in Herceg Novi, Montenegro, unless mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence grants you the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your domicile. Consumers in the EU may also refer the matter to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.

16. Source Materials and AI Synthesis

AstralRead generates personalised consultations using artificial intelligence trained on classical psychological and astrological literature. Concepts from third-party works (including, without limitation, frameworks of attachment theory, Jungian depth psychology, developmental psychology, and traditional natal-chart interpretation) are synthesised by the Service, not reproduced verbatim.

The Service's outputs are independent expressions generated through AI mediation and do not constitute, reproduce, or substitute for any underlying copyrighted source work. Users wishing to study the original works are encouraged to obtain authorised editions directly from the respective rightholders.

A non-exhaustive list of literary traditions and classical authors that informed the Service's knowledge base is published at /sources. Use of these works is performed under the fair-use doctrine, the EU Text and Data Mining exception (Directive (EU) 2019/790, Article 4), and analogous provisions in the laws of Montenegro and other applicable jurisdictions.

17. Notice of Copyright Infringement (DMCA / EU Notice-and-Takedown)

AstralRead respects intellectual property rights. If you are a copyright owner (or authorised agent) and believe that any content available through the Service infringes your copyright, please send a written notice including all of the following information:

• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
• Identification of the specific material on the Service that you claim is infringing, including a URL or other reasonable identifier
• Your contact information (name, postal address, email, and telephone)
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
• A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf
• Your physical or electronic signature

We will review every properly-submitted notice and respond within seven (7) business days. Material identified in a valid notice will be removed or disabled promptly. Repeat infringers may be terminated. Filing a knowingly false notice may result in liability for damages under applicable copyright law.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
